State of the Industry: Supply Chain Update
As we continue to face challenges due to supply chain disruptions, we remain optimistic that we’ll begin to experience some improvement soon. However, we want to remain completely transparent and offer an update on the current state of the industry as well as our continued efforts to mitigate these issues.
While we’re looking forward to some relief in the coming year, our in-house experts and partners are advising that the supply chain will struggle through at least the first half of 2022 due to labor shortages, increased demand, increased costs and delays of materials and products, and high shipping costs.
We remain proactive in our approach to timing and quantities. We’ve effectively managed our inventory by ordering certain products and materials in advance and continue prioritizing high-volume items to reduce shortages of everyday products. We assist our suppliers with transportation and receiving to help alleviate delays. In addition to our preparedness, we remain flexible in developing necessary solutions without affecting the quality of service and product offerings we’re known for.
